A great place to unwind
After driving past Trawool a dozen times or more over the years, we finally booked in for a night. We had an absolute blast. So many places to eat and drink, all warm and inviting during the colder months. The whole estate is immaculately refurbished, whilst maintaining the history of the building. The staff are amazing, friendly and welcoming. Trawool is perfect for a couples getaway or for getting a few friends together for a cocktail or two. Can't wait to return.

What a lovely place to stay. Everyone and everything was top notch.
The staff were friendly helpful and thoughtful.
The food was wonderful, and we couldn’t fault it.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Trawool Estate to friends and family.
We will certainly be back again.
It would have been nice to stay longer, sometimes time restrictions get in the way.

We will return again…
Rooms are comfortable & quiet. Facilities are clean, plenty of choices as to whether you want an intimate dinner in the cocktail bar or enjoy a drink and watch the footy. Breakfast was amazing. Chris thanks for your hospitality. We’ll be back.

Give our Brains a rest and catch a breath of freshness
Trawool Estate was the first stop on our road trip through country Victoria. After competing with peak traffic and leaving behind concrete landscape we felt the stress dissipated once we were surrounded by fresh green rolling hills and towering eucalyptus trees. We approached Trawool Estate nestled with perfect backdrop of nature and were welcomed by friendly receptionist who made us feel special giving us upgrade to King Deluxe room. The building and interiors have been freshly renovated by new owners who have transformed Trawool Estate elegantly furnished. Our room was spacious and King bed was royal comfort. The grounds was pleasant to wander around and admire the mountain vista stroll around the lake or play tennis and tgo for a swim in the pool. They have outdoor eatery with the mountain vista backdrop Would be spectacular for summer nights but being 5degrees we were content to settle inside next to the warmth of the open fire place with our complimentary wine before dining. We ended our stay having breakfast in the floor to ceiling glass Wild Waters restaurant with the warmth of the morning winter sunshine. Enjoyed a barista coffee freshly squeezed orange juice and had choice from a la cart menu. All this was included in the Winter getaway package. Look on their website for new seasonal specials to entice you. We look forward to returning so we can catch a breath of freshness and give our brains a rest.

Wonderful , relaxing stay , fantastic accomodation , fantastic service and food . Highly recommend booking a table at Turbine Restaurant , the food was exceptional . Will definitely be going back .
