Good, clean motel, older style decor. We felt the price was a little stiff for a small country town on a non-event, non-holidays weekend, but overall a pleasant stay.

Do Not Stay Here!
Dirty shower, bathroom, and lounge, uncomfortable bed. Road noise. No plates or bowls to have breakfast. No cultery..

Thank you, Lilian for taking the time to review Aromet. The shower is not dirty it has not been upgraded yet. The bathroom window does open The Lounge has been steam cleaned and the Bed is new rated Medium. As advised in the Information folder Plates, Bowls, Cutlery can all be obtained via the Office. We feel it is more hygienic this way. As much as we can contain it the Road can be busy somedays. As you are sensitive to noise. We put further from the road. The Rooms furthest from the road have showers not suitable for the larger person. We hope you find something that meets your expectations and special needs. Kind regards Beydon

This property was nothing like the photos on the website. The nightly rate indicated it was the premium property in the area. The whole place however was very poorly presented and maintained: overgrown lawn, weeds in the garden and junk in the forecourt. Unpainted timber work.
The reception office was messy and smelly. The room and bathroom were in very tatty condition - the bathroom tiles had been painted at some stage and half the paint was peeling off.
There was no way we could even bring our bags in to the room, let alone sleep in the bed. Exceedingly uncomfortable. We got out quick and found alternative accommodation, and have requested a refund.

Original room we were booked in was really unclean, I understand high tradesman traffic but no excuses when the price is high for a room that is dated, full of spiders 🕷️ and bugs 🐜! Hair in the beds that is not ours! Insulation and timber left in walkway to access room and poor presentation 😢 Nothing like the photos and was very disappointed 😞. We complained and they upgraded us to new ones they have built which were beautiful and clean and bonus disability friendly throughout. But I refuse too return as they’re “renovating” but the old needs to be knocked down or kept for the tradies not for family with children. Certainly not for that price per night!
