Great place to stay - Easy access to Canberra

Awesome place, great service friendly helpful and knowledgeable, great location with super easy access to City, Fyshwick, Murrumbateman (wines). Price was fair for power/water and 2 + 22’ van. Huge sites easy to access and easy to park up. Yes the facilities are circa 1980, but they are clean, very functional, well maintained and surprisingly warm, no artic blasts coming through every time a door is opened and plenty of hot water. Every thing worked as it should in the Laundry. There was no road noise and the whole place had a welcoming feel about it, especially all the very new amenities built for school trips and large groups. The cabins seemed huge and very well maintained, had a quick sneak peak in one being cleaned and it looked great, I’d certainly bring my kids here. Some of the reviews about this place seem a little off the mark or management have listened and taken action. definitely will stay here again.

I booked into the cabin at typical motel room tariff for one night, and it was freezing cold and an ice box. I tried the heater but it was totally not up to task, the bed didn't have enough warm covers, and no electric blanket, the shower and bathroom were dirty and totally outdated, and after working on my laptop for two hours, and clearly the room still an ice box, I checked out and went up the road to the Ibis. These cabins are outdated, very poor amenities and I wouldn't recommend them at all, especially at that price.

A one night stay for a nearby party. The cabin was clean & the heating fabulous! It kept us toasty warm. The double bed was very comfortable & we had a great sleep!
