Location bea h access, pool and resort well manicured gardens - fabulous hosts Ri & Ed. Loved it!
Our eight days away was awesome and we thank our most welcoming and caring hosts Ri and Ed. Spacious area location location location pool all facilities were great and the gardens were well kept for which shows that they really care for everyone. Rooftop area gave more time and space for entertaining family and also quiet times. Beach access awesome.

Overall it was a great place to stay
I love staying at the Beachcomber. The beach is basically at your front door as is the boardwalk which will take you straight into town for shopping and restaurants without having to get in your car. The unit was clean and presentable but could possibly do with a few more kitchen items and teabags, maybe some herbal teas and it was really lacking as far as the decor is concerned. It would definitely be more inviting with some styling as it was very minimal. Management were lovely and accommodating. Overall I would definitely recommend The Beachcomber as a great place to stay in Mooloolaba for location and convenience.

Great for Families and Beach enthusiasts
A great location and apartment. Stayed on the top floor in 16 and 17. Both units had individual and private access to the extensive top floor barbeque area which had lounges, couches, table and chairs, sink and a gas barbeque. We read, lazed and had dinner up there on three nights.
The units were clean and well fitted out with starter packs of everything you need to begin your holiday. All rooms had individual air conditioners and the beds were comfortable. The pillows were quite high (my husband usually sleeps on 2 but used 1.)
Walking distance to everything; Coles was a 15 minute walk and the Surf Club about 7 minutes. Do not miss eating at the Asian eateries diagonally opposite the Surf Club!
We could see the water through the trees from our balcony; a magical spot with greenery everywhere, the boardwalk just 20 meters from the gate, and the beach similar again. The beach there was fantastic with Life Saving flags to our right and left.
Our hosts were friendly and so accommodating, answering many queries prior to booking. We arrived prior to the usual check in time and our apartments were ready.
The pool is heated in the winter but only by the sun in the warmer months.
We much preferred the area which, although busy with traffic through the day, did not disturb us at night. It is not as frenetic as staying along the main drag. Also, having access to the Wharf area (3 minutes) was another bonus.
We would definitely stay at Beachcomber on the Spit again.

Faultless accommodation and location
Very comfortable stay at Beachcombe on the Spit. Clean and spacious unit with easy and very close access to the beach as well as underground secure parking. Short boardwalk to a great range of eateries and well-priced and stocked womens' apparel shops. Management was friendly and helpful. All adding to a wonderful, relaxing holiday.
