Perfect for an overnight stay where all you need is a room and a shower. Will definitely use this hotel again in the future.

Dreadful hotel. Don’t believe there write up.

We had a group stay so we were on floor 1,4,7 etc. nothing about this hotel has been ‘recently refurbished’.
My room while a nice size stank so much I wanted to vomit. The shower was in the room and the handbasin with a flimsy wrap around curtain. The smell was the drains of the shower. The rooms were not clean. The whole hotel was not clean. Rubbish bins and laundry trolleys stayed in the hallways for our whole stay. The window looked straight into an office building and was so close I could read the screen of the office worker.
The air con was broken. The bedside light was broken or missing. I put my finger into the socket thinking it was black and there but no, just a hole. I’m lucky not to be electrocuted.
Walls are thin so you hear everything and appears to be frequented by people who are drinking and drunk.
They refused our Accor card so I’m not even sure it is actually an Accor Ibis hotel.
Avoid this at all costs.
Only positive was it’s in the cbd.

Bathroom looked like a nursing home/hospital. The beds were neat and tidy however not sure if it was flooring chosen appeared unclean or it was a while since full clean.
Advertised as buffet breakfast which is was continental at best.
It is located is located in the cbd with great access to trams.
You get what you paid

There was a foul odor probably from the carts of dirty laundry on my floor. Thankfully I only spent one night here and only paid about $100. Definitely would not stay again nor recommend this location.

Run on the principle that even if you ask, you might not receive...unless you persist. Has a mindset that all that matters is taking the money, service is secondary. Had to Demand my paid breakfasts, and then front manager only gave them grudgingly. I later showed her the booking with informed said breakfasts. The breakfasts themselves are so poor and second rate, even for 'continental' breakfast, which wasn't stated on the original booking which implied cooked breakfasts. Place is absolutely dirty carpets, only one pillow each, cheap and nasty. Worst hotel I've stayed in Melbourne..Need to realise that it's not all about receiving the money and then not delivering.
