Easy to recommend.
We stayed at the Lorne Bay View Motel for two nights where they upgraded us to a larger Apartment on the top floor with a great view. As the Laundry wasn’t fully operating, the Manager gave us access to an Apartment downstairs that had a Washing Machine & Clothes Dryer.
I thoroughly recommend this Motel as it is modern & clean. We also found that the Owner/ Manager was informative, efficient with a great attitude.

Great stay!
What a great person the owner of this place is! We came here because we made a wrong booking in another appartment. The manager there referred us to Bay View. We could rent for the same price as the other appartment. After checking in, he really took a lot of time to give us information about places to visit and about the best places to eat. The restaurant we went to, was really excellent! The appartment was clean spacious, and comfortable! Wish we had more days to spend there!

Clean, comfortable and convenient
I booked this hotel when the one I usually stay at in Lorne was booked out. I was pleasantly surprised. Large spacious rooms, comfortable beds, plenty of well positioned power points, decent sized fridge and clean modern bathroom. It was also very convenient. Just a stone’s throw from the beach.
I was unaware checkin closed at 5pm so when I arrived at 5.30pm was relieved and grateful to find the pleasant and friendly hotel receptionist had waited for me. Would highly recommend.

Had a perfect holiday!
I went to Lorne Bay View Motel with my husband and 8 months old baby for three days just after Victorian queens Birthday in June and had an excellent time spent in there. The place exceeded our expectation and made such a perfect little trip for the three of us.
We researched alot before going to this place . Especially went through lot of reviews. This Adam at reception, whome everyone was praising in their reviews was definitely a wonderful person. And he really deserve that praise. Initially we selected a ground floor Unit, but he upgraded us free of charge to a Unit which has a Corner Spa and spectacular views of the Lorne Bay(room 104). Also gave us late check out as it was not crouded. He recommended us where we could go to make the maximum during our stay with our little man. Erskine falls was my favorite (and yes the 8 months old, made it to the second look out in a baby carrier). Adam was really a great person and would do his best to accomadate requests and help you in best possible way.
The Spa came really handy for me and my little baby as i was stucked in the room on the third day as it was raining. Room was really clean and tidy (furniture looked new) and had a very comfy queen size bed. The foldable sofa bed was really useful, and we use that as a cot for the baby :-) The kitchenette also was good enough to do basic food preparation for us/baby and the overall Unit size was quiet good for the price. We had a bunch of beautiful Cockatoos visit on the balcony too.
The place is at an ideal location(in a hilly area), you can walk to the beach and the shops in few minutes. Almost all restaurants offer great food in varying prices. But its definitely worth trying few different dishes from around.
Overall, we were very satisfied about this place and we cant recommend this place enough without any hesitation. We will be going back there for sure.

Love Lorne & this Motel - highly recommend
We had such a nice time in Lorne & had a excellent stay at Lorne Bay View Motel.
We are a family of 3 with a little 10 month old baby and I honestly can’t recommend this motel enough.
Location is perfection to stroll the main Street with so many great cafes, restaurant & visit the beach. (Pizza pizza take away pizza was really good quality and yum pizza as a side note)
Room itself was fresh and spacious and had a really peaceful vibe.
The kitchette was exactly what I needed to prep baby meals with a microwave, fridge & kitchen bits & pieces.
Last but not least - Adam who runs the accomodation was incredibly accomodating to make sure we had a nice stay, ensuring we had a comfortable room with our baby, going above and beyond several times for us.
When you stay somewhere it’s always nice to receive personal and attentive service & Adam exceeded this, they even have umbrellas to hire for the beach which is great for city people like us who don’t own one.Thank you Adam, your such a asset to Lorne motel & we are already wondering if we can sneak in a trip back next week because we enjoyed our time so much and alot of that was making holiday life easy with a baby.
