Wrong booking

On our way from Mt Field to Launceston I realised I had booked the wrong date! I called The Florence hotel to explain and they advised me to cancel the booking through Booking.com. When The Florence received the cancellation they very kindly refunded the full amount.

A Unique and Elegant Romantic Escape

My partner and I stayed at this hotel and had a truly wonderful experience. The property is very distinctive, with a refined elegance that stands out from the moment you arrive. Every detail is carefully curated, creating an intimate and sophisticated atmosphere — perfect for a romantic getaway.
Our room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with every comfort. You can clearly see the attention to detail throughout the hotel, which makes the stay feel special and unique.
A special mention goes to the owners, who are incredibly warm, friendly, and polite. They were always available and attentive to every need, making us feel genuinely welcome and at home.
It was a unique experience that we highly recommend.

brilliant stay

brilliant hotel…great attention to the design and therefore the rooms and the conservatory are really cool, very relaxing
breakfast great too
and the ladies running Florance are really helpful and do a great job
location A1 as on the edge of town and easy walks, including to the gorge
it’s 10/10
(2 minor suggestions…poach eggs (easier to eat) and put hand-sink in bathroom, rather than main bedroom)
all said, thoroughly recommend and we’ll visit again
