For the price, the room are what you expect even a bit better! The location is perfect, the pub downstairs is good and not too noisy.
The rooms and common areas are clean and in good conditions!

Nice staff, pretty comfortable room and not very crowded so the shared bathrooms were always available. But note that it is very very loud at night from the pub downstairs. If you’re a light sleeper then probably book something else but it was cheap as.

Great room but no aircon and the windows are sealed shut.
Understand why because of the noise from the road but the noise from the speakers in the pub vibrates through the room anyway, traffic outside isn’t that bad.

Accommodating and Comfy

Great spot to stay in Fitzroy! Cute, clean, comfortable rooms and close to cafes, shops, restaurants, parks, public transport, etc. Paul was super friendly at check-in and Liam was awesome, letting me keep a bag downstairs for the day after check out.

I liked the clean showers and rooms, as well as kitchen. I did not like the overheating. I got heat exhaustion as the property was not adequately ventilated to cope with hot days (and also did not have air conditioning). I did not like that I had to leave my room during the hours of 9am-10pm due to the extremely dangerous heat levels.
