Fresh, clean and convenient!

We recently stayed at The Esperance Accommodation at a rate of AUD200 for the night. We arrived early evening and only encountered one staff member just as she was leaving for the day, but who was very helpful in providing recommendations on where to eat nearby. We did have self check-in. We were very pleased with the fresh decor and quality of the new furnishings. The bed was comfortable and the room/bathroom was very clean. We stayed on the first floor so had a pleasant view towards the beach-front. The location is conventiently central to the town centre. The motel-type accommodation is set behind shops off the high street and is not fenced off so didn't feel secure/private; at night you have to walk through dark areas/alleys to get to the streets at the back and front, which felt a bit unsafe and we did use the torch on our phones at one point. We would definitely stay here again!

Should be called Motel

Clean but walls are painted cinder blocks. Poor natural light inside. Watch TV as a couple? Only one seat! Want to make a drink? No ice, no ice cube trays. Want to eat? No silverware. Why a fridge? To keep one cream for your coffee. No table, no chairs. One poor ceiling light in the bathroom hooked to the fan. Your partner will have trouble getting a make-up. Cheap! Upscale jail cells have better accommodations!

What a find! Great new accommodation in Esperance

What a lovely place to stay! A newly opened range of rooms, that are fresh, modern, clean and functional when you are travelling. We had a deluxe room which was spacious and had a small terrace and large king size bed which was so comfortable… fresh crisp bedding and a well sized and appointed room with fridge, coffee, tea and safe. Such a pleasure to stay in a room where the bathroom shower works and everything is new. Thank you for looking after us so well on arrival and sorting out our room. The accommodation is right by the high street and a great coffee shop. Perfect for a short stay.

High Standard Rooms with Friendly Staff

Deluxe King Room was bright and airy and very clean. The Motel has undergone refurbishments due to a fire. You can see the attention to detail in the rooms and quite an expense has been made to bring up the standards. The beds are super comfy and the bedding feels expensive.
The staff were so happy with each other and with the guests, housekeeping ladies were so obliging and helpful. They were also accommodating with our large vehicle and secured a spot onsite for parking.
The gardens will give a bit of warmth to the place when matured and will also provide screening to rooms.
The location is perfect for a few minutes-walk to restaurants and waterfront.

Was anyone paying attention?

Noise and light and stingy towels. Sadly the room looks lovely. Big bed. Nice bedding. But it fails to deliver on that most important commodity: sleep. The room door to the hallway has an inch gap at the base so you hear EVERYTHING from the hall. The blackout curtain, no matter how you stretch it, doesn’t cover the window so outdoor parking lot lighting steams in. So sleep was difficult. As a person of moderate build the fact that the towel just wraps my waist was annoying plus I shared hubby’s towel as I used mine to block under the door to reduce noise and light. Insult to injury, over $400 a night. Highway robbery. Find somewhere else.
