Great budget stop for the night, food smelt fantastic and will try next time. It's unfortunate the MOB in the other rooms have no respect for other guests and cant keep their mouths shut. But no problems, this is Ceduna.

Room smelt like wet dog as soon as you entered and bed frame/mattress felt broken as you laid down it was tilting to the floor.
But the worst part was getting scolded in the shower as the cold water was turning on and off repeatedly.
If you have kids I’d stay away from here or not let them shower.

If you can, completely AVOID this place!
In a word, atrocious. The state of the room, the non existent facilities, but above all.. the service.
I'd booked originally on booking.com, they had cancelled the booking as the motel had been taken over by new owners so booking.com had told me to re-book with them, only to see that they were no longer taking bookings through them (I now understand why!) so I called them to re-book. I was told on the phone that the price would be the same, that my card would not be charged until I arrived. Both which were not the case. I should have realised something was amiss when the phone was not answered professionally, I had to ask if it was the Ceduna Motor Inn..
Upon arrival, I asked why my card was charged a much higher amount than I was told over the phone & the staff seemed really disinterested, I felt they wanted they just didn't want to deal with me. Later, my husband & I went back & spoke to an older gentleman thinking he may have been the manager or the owner, but he was beyond rude & dismissive. I explained him to the situation, he didn't want to listen to me, he repeatedly said that we could not get a pet friendly motel in Australia for the original price?! He became quite forceful & rude, raised his voice multiple times. The service is non existent, there was no breakfast included nor any restaurant facilities. AVOID THIS PLACE, it's disgusting & old, the room was extremely run down, the bedding was moth eaten, there is even a sign saying the plumbing is old above the toilet. Pet friendly shouldn't mean having to stay in a dump & being charged a ridiculous amount.
They should close it down & refurbish extensively before they think they can charge people $190 a night!

Comfortable - one to watch
This place has changed hands recently and it sounds like the handover didn't go smoothly. The infrastructure is a little tired and the owners have some work to do but, that said, our stay was very comfortable. Although we didn't eat there, there were great smells coming from the kitchen. Definitely worth coming back to.
