Returned for a second time this year
I reviewed this hotel when I last stayed in April 2026 and it appears my feedback about the slow food and beverage service I encountered last time was listened to because the service at the bar, breakfast and room service this time were all much faster. The winter breakfast special was also a nice surprise. Well done F&B.
Only mild criticism was that one half of my king bed was clearly wearing out and overly soft from years of almost daily use by different sleepers. This is not unusual in hotels as mattresses wear out far quicker than yours at home due to the beds having different people sleeping on them each night but the experience would be elevated if the aging mattresses were replaced soon.
It was otherwise a nice place to retreat to after a long day of work.

Our room was “okay” but the bathroom was disgustingly dirty. The carpet was lifting and a tripping hazard.
Shelves haven’t been properly cleaned in a long time… would actually not recommend this hotel as it was very poorly maintained. It’s evident the housecleaning staff take little interest in the guests comfort.

Great but ask for a room away from the lift.
Great location.
Best check in ever (have stayed in 160+ hotels and resorts from 3 star to 5 star+)
Great staff.
Big rooms but not well lit.
TV remote control needs a degree in IT that I don't have.
Big screen on TV.
Nice bar, great selections.
Ensure your doesn't end with a '12'... the lift is very intrusive!

A nicely appointed hotel with very friendly and efficient staff. However, the elevator service was variable -at one point only one was working and this caused delays and overcrowding. I would however stay here again

Great Hotel, Great Team, Great Food
We had a wonderful 3 nights stay at QT Canberra with our family. Rijesh and the entire team were incredibly welcoming and made sure everything was perfectly arranged for us. Our two grandkids had an amazing time, which made our stay even more special.
The breakfast and dinner were both excellent. Thank you Rijesh and the entire team for the outstanding hospitality. We highly recommend QT Canberra and will definitely stay again!
