Good Experience

Great location, top customer service and comfortable room.
The gym was a bit too far to walk but it was there to be used
The aircon in my room was very noisy but manageable.

Good

The overall experience was quite good, the only downside being that water in the shower doesn't drain properly and tends to overflow easily, causing the entire bathroom to become very wet.

Great value for money

Very good value for money. Great location. Reception staff were lovely! Level 3 restaurant and bar area was very nice. Room was clean and spacious.

I’m a return guest

The Benson hotel is in the centre of town which is ideal for tourists. The rooms are large - we stayed for 9 days and never felt cramped. The rooms have the added bonus of a microwave, crockery and cutlery, and are cleaned well. The staff are all very welcoming and happy. The only negative, (and it’s because of being in the city centre) is Saturday night can be noisy because there’s a large backpacker’s hotel close by! We didn’t use the gym invitations, but the pool was lovely and clean. Breakfast is varied with so much to choose from, but sometimes the hot food is not so hot. The whole breakfast buffet is very clean and well organised. We’ll be back!

Happy birthday stay

The Receptionist was on her own when we checked in. I felt sorry for her as she was busy with other guests and my tv remote needed new batteries to work. The room was very clean and comfortable. The pool temperature was a bit cold. Overall a pleasant stay to celebrate my birthday, with good location to harbour and shops. I did not receive any complimentary bubbles or chocs, which other places offer. Thank you.
