Extremely Good

Sure, the motel is not 5 star but I must say that my stay has been EXCELLENT!!! You don't even need to ask for anything as staff have already offered before you can find what you require. 5 stars to all the staff including Laney (manager). I'll be back for sure.

Look elsewhere

Stayed 4 nights, rooms never made up each day. Rubbish bins not emptied the entire duration of stay. Toilet paper not restocked, towels not replaced. Old run down room. Very low budget place, that seems to cater to uncivilized people. Had to endure nights of loud, drunken arguments from other 'guests'.

If you are looking for a quiet motel in cairns do not go to ADOBE 191 Sheridan Street.
It seems to have a permanent group of Abbos living there.
Really insufferable AH's ( it is now 2:20 am...)noise throught the night, music, very loud voices swearing and cussing "white trash" etc etc. Knocking on doors ...dragging furnature around in the rooms..
Mostly all alcohol affected.
Can't raise management after hours...
Really not the place to stay if you're looking for good nights rest...
Flip side is very tidy and cosy restraunt down stairs run by different people..Rick and Julia have great meals and efficient and courteous staff.. feel sorry for them.
This place was good in the past ...if ya wanta stuff ya business ..don't have to do anything other than let the Abbos in ...they'll stuff it.

One night stay

The beds were comfortable, the linens and towels were clean, the TV and air con worked and the price was good. What more do you need? However, this property is in need of some TLC. Paint flaking off walls, chipped tiles in the shower, nothing to stir the coffee with, and the TV came on by itself early in the morning. Also very noisy late at night, but that might have come from the motel very close next door.

quiet location

Staff very helpful close to the center we were allocated to a very spacious room Good facilities around .Very quiet place few good restaurant around The only missing is an accessible pool to relax if you have kids.
