Great location. Lovely views and walking distance to all you need. Very helpful reception staff. Will definitely come back but only after the apartment block being built right next door is finished.

Great for a quick weekend getaway

Sunset room: A very clean and quiet room overlooking the putt putt course. Putt putt course is in great condition. The room had a kitchenette with oven, king size bed, spa bath (didn’t use it), shower, washing machine & dryer. One of the sun lounges by the pool was broken, the bubbles button for the outdoor spa/jacuzzi doesn’t work, the pool itself is average but the area and the water was definitely very clean. On-site parking and walking distance to the beach & cafes (2 minutes either way) make this a great option for a quick getaway.

It was pouring rain and flood warnings, it’s a fair walk to reception, I saw the parking area gate was open so drove in there and headed to reception. Sharon did not great me first thing out of her mouth was I want to know how you are coming up from the gara

The room overlooked the ocean and the small balcony had 4 chairs to enjoy the view. The apartment is showing its age with various maintenance items requiring attention. Good location with easy walk to town or golf club. Good underground car parking and safe to walk everywhere.

An enjoyable experience every year.

Love our annual holiday at The Point Resort, Bargara.
Sharon, the manager goes above and beyond to accommodate our requests. If you request sunset view, you get sunset view. If you request ocean view, you get ocean view. Guaranteed.
There is a new building under construction next door. It's out of their control. But they do give you pre-warning, and the noise is minimal. It didn't bother us at all.
There is everything you need in walking distance. Shops. Pub. Clubs. Restaurants. Cafes. Beaches and playgrounds (in both directions). Something for the whole family.
The friendly staff will take care of you.
