Immaculately clean room, pleasant smell to it. Comfortable bed and nice shower. Only problem is poor phone reception/internet connection in the area and if you arrive after office hours it’s hard to get through to anyone on the after-hours phone number.

Never again - terrible experience
Terribly upsetting experience with Tiona Holiday Park. We have lost $400 from a booking made 8 months in advance. Unfortunately due to family health issues we were forced to send email 2 weeks out to explain our situation and try to cancel for refund to help with our situation. Next day was informed they had on sold our site and we would get a tbc credit but no mention of how much credit. When asked them to hold off as we didn’t want credit but prefer refund, all of a sudden it was an major issue regarding to a greedy “policy”. In their T&Cs. Was then told they would try to on sell the site even though they had already done so and only if they could would we be helped. No understanding or compassion at all. Pure greed. Such a disappointing experience.

I am truly sorry to hear about your mother’s health situation. I understand this has been a stressful and upsetting time for you, and we do appreciate how difficult it has been to manage everything at once.
That said, I would like to clearly summarise the situation so there is no further confusion.
• Your booking was originally cancelled following your request within the one month period prior to arrival, and the full amount of $400 was placed into a 12 month park credit, in accordance with our published cancellation policy.
• After advising us that you did not wish to proceed with a credit, we reinstated your booking as requested and attempted, in good faith, to resell the site in its entirety so that a refund could be considered.
• Unfortunately, while we received interest for shorter stays, the site has not been resold for the full five nights of your original booking. As outlined in our policy, a refund can only be issued if the site is resold in full.
• At all times, your booking and deposit have been handled in line with our written terms and the information provided in your confirmation email.
At this stage, the available option remains a park credit of $400, valid for 12 months, which can be used for a future stay at Tiona Holiday Park. This provides flexibility should you wish to visit at a more suitable time.
While we respect your right to share feedback, we respectfully ask that communication remains factual and courteous. Our team has acted transparently, consistently, and with consideration throughout this process.

Amazing spot for families
Amazing location and great for families.
Want to put a big shout out to "Shane" in the reception that helped us when we traveled in Jan 2025 and there were some Big storms. He helped us get a room to take cover from the rain and allowed us to park our camper trailers some where safe.
Cant wait to come back soon!
