Hawkes Nest BNB

Sam and I arrived at this lovely BnB in Mount Rankin, I had booked it for our wedding anniversary.
It has a beautiful garden with lots of lovely flowers.
Our host was Elaine.
She was wonderful. She has beautiful cosy home, also her two little dogs
Will lick you to death. Our room was really comfortable. There was a verandah out the back that overlooked
the rest of her beautiful garden. I would recommend her home to stay.
We would love to go back and stay there.

Bathroom is not private

Lovely country home with loads of room. However, big downside is sharing the toilet and bathroom with all the other guests. Situation got worse when we noticed there was no way to lock the toilet and bathroom doors. Also, we were unable to lock our bedroom door when we went out.

Delightful house with charming hosts

We recently stayed one night in this delightful B&B. Elaine and John were very welcoming and considerate hosts. Our room was very comfortable and beautifully furnished, and the breakfast was delicious-we ate much more than we usually do. Even though we live in a small town ourselves, it was still wonderful to wake to the sounds of magpies warbling and sheep bleating in the distance.

Country charm with warm welcoming hosts.

My family plus my 7 month old little boy were warmly welcomed by John and Elaine into their humble home. Although it felt like we were intruding on their life, they made us feel right at home. They treated us as if we were family. Great home, great conversation and great company.
The house has a lot of country charm, beautifully styled by Elaine and dedecorated with John's paintings and impressive tiffany lamps.
Thank you very much for a relaxing time and your outstanding hospitality.
