Uncaring staff
On the site next to us and very close was a small tent with a sick homeless man with mental health problems. Without going into all the details he made sleeping difficult and severely effected our enjoyment. The managers of the park were aware of the problem he had been causing days before we arrived and still put us on the site next to him when there were many other they could have offered.
A couple on another site next him had complained about his behaviour the day before and little was done.
We complained to the office as we left and were given lame excuses and oftened no compensation .
Very disappointed. If management were aware of the problem they should have done something to fix it or make us aware of the situation and let us decide to go to and site. They seemed to think it was our problem.

Outstanding Location, But the Cabins Are Well Past Their Use-By Date
We only stayed here because our friends were staying in the park. As we don’t own a caravan and wanted to bring our dogs, we booked a “Superior” two-bedroom cabin. We were told that Cabin 9 was the best cabin in the park.
Unfortunately, the cabin was extremely disappointing.
In my view, these cabins need to be demolished and rebuilt. They appear to be decades old, with only very basic cosmetic updates such as a cheap kitchen renovation and low-cost floorboards. The bathroom was particularly unpleasant. We had believed the cabin had two bathrooms, but it only has one. This really needs to be made clear on the website.
The internal space is incredibly small. You literally cannot get changed comfortably in either the bedroom or the bathroom. Everything feels cramped, to the point where you couldn’t swing a small cat.
Cleanliness was also a major issue. When we looked under the bed, there was thick dust everywhere, as though it hadn’t been vacuumed for years. I don’t blame the cleaning staff at all. I met the cleaners before we left and they were lovely. It was obvious the beds were far too heavy to move, which makes proper cleaning almost impossible. In the bathroom, there was even a pile of dirt in one corner that resembled an ant nest.
We initially felt this warranted a one-star review. However, to be fair, the view is outstanding. The ocean outlook is genuinely beautiful, especially in the morning while having a coffee and breakfast.
I’ve been providing fair and balanced reviews on TripAdvisor for over a decade, and my honest recommendation is that these cabins be knocked down and rebuilt. Given the incredible location, the opportunity to create premium accommodation here is enormous.

Spacious cabin a short walk to the beach. We were lucky enough to see a cow and calf whale breaching for over half an hour as they passed close to the beach.
We had a warm friendly reception. A nice cabin with a good bed, sofa, table and chairs and good kitchen with great fridge and all the other appliances.
There was 2 TVs but the one in the bedroom had no remote and had a line in the screen but it didn't bother us as we didn't use it.
The park is huge and offers everything from camping with tents, powered and unpowered sites to cabins.
There was even a kangaroo keeping the grass short. We also saw about 20 a little further down the road.
The surf life saving club across the road does breakfast snacks and coffee in the morning.
Good park and walks across the road and about 10min walk to the restaurants in the main street.
Wish we knew of this place 2 years ago when we passed through Bundaberg which is only 10 to 15mins drive.
