Lockleys grumpy man

Came in on June 6th to stay then to airport very early in the morning. Came in for dinner very busy of course got shown to bar area to grab a table if we can fine one. We were very nice to the lovely girl trying to please every one on a busy night. Grumpy rude man in front of us causing havoc as he couldn't get a table in restaurant area. We found a table and we were plesant and nice to the manager. She found a table for us in the restaurant and moved us away from grumpy man. It shows to be nice and patient to busy hospitality staff as we were well looked after. Good work lockleys staff you are all amazing

Perfect for a stay before an early flight. Rooms are up a flight of stairs so avoid lugging heavy suitcases.
Good pub meals. A little noise from people outside the pub coming and going but not too bad. I stayed on a Tuesday night so not sure if its noisier on weekends.

We needed a room for an early morning flight the following day. The accommodation was extremely basic, no shampoo, no hair dryer, ultra small bathroom. The view out of the window was of the roof which unfortunately can’t be changed even if the room was renovated. There is no lift so you have to carry your bags upstairs. We would not stay here again and not recommend it. On saying that, the restaurant where we ate dinner that evening was outstanding and would highly recommend. It’s such a shame the accommodation is so poor as it would be great for country people like us to use before an early morning flight - in future we will stay elsewhere.

Clean, spacious room but a little dated. Reasonably quiet considering it's a pub. Close to the airport.

Don’t bother

Won’t be going back I had a seniors lunch roast dinner tiny piece of lamb very fatty two potatoes, desert spoonful of peas and one small piece of pumpkin total rip off. I was still hungry. What a joke. Charged us $45 for cutting up the birthday cake
