Great venue, bit far from town, pity about some of the staff
Pool, BBQ area, top deck, average breakfast, OK WiFi, aircon, reasonable rooms, secure and only a 10 min cab from town.
They do need to do is sort out the kitchen and utensils, alot of our food went off as the fridge didn't close, not enough space for everyone's food gets 'borrowed', the whole place could be cleaner in general.
It is a bit over priced and there are places in town just as good.
Hopefully the Summer staff are leaving soon as it very much felt like you were spoiling their holiday. And wow if you don't speak Spanish watch out.
Anyway all of us felt the same, with a bit of good management, concerned staff and less BS plus a free van to town it would be one of the best places around.

1 Peso and a Spoon of sugar...
Straight away when we arrived we notice that the property it was not half as impressive as the photos had portrayed, which of course was disappointing considering the price. We had purchased some groceries to make lunch and a dinner for that evening. We asked about using the kitchen and we were told that guest are not allowed, we pointed out that their profile on Booking.com states “Shared Kitchen”. The staff then said that we could make sandwiches for lunch and they would discuss the matter with the manager.
We made lunch and I went looking for some sugar for my coffee, I was then told by the staff that the coffee, tea and sugar was for breakfast only and I was not permitted to have a spoon of sugar even though we had used our own tea and coffee. I asked a second time, just to be sure that I was clear regarding my request for one spoon of sugar, again I was told no. At this point we decided to talk to the manager regarding the use of the kitchen, again we were told that guests are not allowed to use it, even after we pointed out online that it clearly states “Shared Kitchen” on their profile, to which we were informed that this was Booking.com's mistake. We decided to stay one night only, check out the following morning and this was agreed with the staff.
The next morning a staff member approached us, said that she had spoken to Booking.com and they would be in touch as it was their mistake regarding the profile information. She then decided to insult us by bringing other guests additional breakfast items which we had not been offered. We went to pay our bill for the one night, which came to ARS $430, but she insisted that it was $431, disputing over the 1 peso (at the time of this review 1peso = €0.09). I then had to show her the confirmation price from Booking.com, $430 was correct for one nights stay, I paid and asked for a receipt. She said she would not give us a receipt, to which I insisted. We informed her that we would be writing a review about our stay and how dissatisfied we were.
Three hours later I received an email from Booking.com stating that it had been reported to them that we were a no-show at El Quijote for our booking. I can only assume that she did this so that we would be unable to write a review. This also meant that Booking.com would be charging us one nights stay for a no-show, as per their policy. I informed Booking.com of the above and forwarded a copy of my receipt. They resolved the matter in an extremely professional manner, stating that the profile details were entirely El Quijote's responsibility and offered me credit on my account.
I have never stayed in a hospitality property where I was subjected to such insults, even after checking out.
