Only if you have no other option.

The room is very spacious but the TV is tiny and everything looks pixelated. It is impossible. The bathroom sink is almost flat, an odyssey to wash up without getting wet. The toilet paper holder is all rusted. At breakfast, there is no hot water. The coffee is undrinkable and if you want to have tea, you have to serve yourself water from the dispenser that has lukewarm water. You ask for a blanket and they look at you as if you were asking for a lizard. It has a lot of people because of the location, it is a necessary evil. And they take advantage of that.

Mediocre service

The bathroom was losing and they didn't fix anything. The worst part is that when we claimed after the stay our claim was very poorly received. The quality of the hotel quite low, the spa is not accessible to guests, the mediocre breakfast. Not recommended.

NOT RECOMMENDED PLACE

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. We went in December 2023, we stayed one night and the experience was good. We returned and were greatly disappointed. The room was noisy and lacked maintenance. We arrived 2 hours before check-in and they charged us 15,000 pesos. The unusual thing was that they wanted to charge us 1,500 pesos per person to use the pool, when we went to see the installation it gave the impression that it was under construction.

A bad experience

Everything was going well in Colon Center, the hotel looked luxurious and modern, in a relatively good location (it is next to the city lake), but like everything in life, as we zoom in, as we put the magnifying glass on In the details, things can change, sometimes for the better, other times, as in this case, for the worse.
I was not going to do an extensive review but due to the policy of TripAdvisor, an app that I no longer use except on occasions that I think are relevant, I was forced to write more than 200 characters and here I am speaking.
Having said that, I just want to point out that I didn't have a good time. The place is bare, the food is of dubious origin (for example we had to return the orange juice at dinner because the taste was unrecognizable), it was very cold in all the rooms despite it being May and the worst of all is Not only did they not respect the rate we agreed upon, but they gave me a hard time, I'm still going through it, to get a refund. A great shame. Hopefully they will soon leave old vices behind along with the ugly smelling carpets. The place deserves it, the City needs it and the guests would be more than grateful.

Standard

It is new (2016), large, spacious, very comfortable rooms. Very attentive and friendly staff. The restaurant is normal, the food is standard. A nice place to spend the night if you are traveling and want to stop to sleep. It has a huge party room a few meters away, owned by the same owners.
